Description

"So...where are we going again?" Sugar asked as she slowly drifted closer to the Doctor, a sly smile on her face.

"Hmm, oh Galis Major, in the constellation Venor Cygnae. There is a facility there that should have what I need to fix the Tardis" The Doctor replied distractedly as he watched Books continue her examination of the Tardis console.

"Uh...sounds like a long way, guess we will be out of coverage" Sugar joked, continuing to drift closer.

"Hmm..oh no, actually I can fix that. Give me your cell phone" the Doctor produced a cigar like object from an inner pocket, metal and topped with a green crystal.

"What's that?" Sugar asked as she handed over her cell phone. The Doctor pointed the object at the phone and flicked a switch, there was a weird humming noise and the crystal lit up.

"It's my screw driver. It's sonic" , he beamed proudly, "Here you go, one upgrade, courtesy of me" he handed Sugar back her phone.

She looked at him uncertainly, "It will work now?"

The Doctor nodded, "Yes, thanks to my know how and my frankly outstanding screwdriver. You might say that the technology is..."

"Sound?" Books suggested, looking up from the console and smiling.

"Exactly" the Doctor beamed back at her. Suddenly the Tardis rocked and shuddered, Sugar stumbled, ended up in the Doctor's arms, and not by accident.

"What was that?" Books asked.

"Temporal speed bump, the Tardis suspension is damaged. Nothing to worry about" the Doctor reassured her. He looked down at Sugar who was pressing against him" It's okay Sugar, ahem. You can let go now"

Sugar looked up, began to replay but was cut short by another shudder, more violent than the first and tightened her hold around the Doctor's waist. There was a surprised shriek from further inside the ship, from the door where Dimples had gone investigating.

"Dee! Dee are you okay?" Books called out as the shuddering ceased.

"I iz finez" Dimples voice came floating back. "Oh, and I iz findz the swimming poolz" she added cheerfully.

Books sighed in relief "Well get out and dry off, we will be landing...soon?" She looked at the Doctor who nodded. "We will be landing soon"

"Dimples, there is a dryer, that small chamber by the side. Just stand in it and you will be dry in no time" The Doctor chimed in.

"Kay...I iz be rightz with you"

The Doctor looked down at Sugar and smiled nervously" I am going to need my arms back to land the Tardis, ahm, if you don't mind"

Pouting slightly Sugar released her hold and stepped back reluctantly. She wandered over to Books and leaned in close.

"Two hearts" she whispered, giggling , "Bet he has some stamina"

"Seriously, Rachel, just for once can you met a bipedal humanoid you don't want to...have...relations with?" Books sighed in frustration.

"Just the way I am sis" Sugar smiled and shrugged.

With a sudden reverberation like a door slamming the Tardis ceased making noise. The sisters shared a glance and then looked at the Doctor in unison, who smiled and nodded. "We've arrived"

"Wot? Yay. Bagsiez first on an alien planetz!" Dimples appeared, dry and none the worse from her explorations. Before anyone could stop her she made a sudden dash and bolted out the doorway.

"Dee...wait. Damn it , Sugar go after her and make sure she doesn't start an intergalactic war or  something" Books said, sighing as she watched Dimples disappear outside.

"I shouldn't worry, the Taluri people have long since vanished into history. I doubt she can cause too much trouble. Let me have your cell phone" The Doctor said reassuringly.

"You have archives right, know all about us? Well , Dimples Bratt is now roaming alone on an alien world, but I am sure you are right. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?"

The Doctor looked at Books then at the Tardis door, "Yes, quite...Sugar, if you please?"

"I'm on it" With a smile and wink for the Doctor Sugar turned and ran after her sister.

"Now, your cell phone?" The Doctor reminded Books gently.

"What, oh, right. Sorry. Here you go" Books looked away from the door and handed the Doctor her phone, watching curiously as he pointed the sonic screw driver at it for a few moments and then handed it back to her.

With a grand sweeping gesture of his arm the Doctor pointed at the door. "Shall we?"

Swallowing nervously, Book poked her head outside the door and looked around.  They appeared to have landed inside some sort of hangar, or garage. She sighed as she spotted the advanced looking battle tank. Sugar was busy, trying to pull Dee away from it. Dimples had a thing about tanks, and she continued to ogle it even as Sugar tugged her gently away.

The Doctor gave her a gently nudge from behind, and Books took a step and set foot on an alien world. She smiled, this was such a thrill. Her cell beeped and she looked down. Full coverage. That screw driver of the Doctor's was amazing, what she wouldn't give for a closer look.

"And here we are, the last outpost of the Taluri" The Doctor said as he joined her, "Ready for a little adventure?"
