Well here we are in January 2017 and so far I have kept my promise to post more often :) This despite my IRL job being a real pain and requiring me to do 9 hours in the office and pretty much 4 hours at home every day.  Thankfully I have some art built up, so it only requires me finding some time to write and hey presto...regular posting.

Right now, the plan is that every week will see an early week, mid week and weekend post at a minimum. At least until I run out of steam, keel over from a stress induced heart attack because of work or run out of art :D

One of the great things about D.A. is the chance to work with some very talented artists, so coming down the line we have more from such luminaries as

:iconlordsnot: :iconthedude255: :iconshadowhawkone: :iconredgvicente: :iconsean-loco-odonnell: and :iconms-claire-dawkins:

as well as the in-house of talent of :icondimples-bratt: and :iconsugar-bratt:

It's gna be fun :)

Story wise, the plan for this year is to try bring (a little) more coherence to things, a bit more focus. I do like the freedom of being able to jump around though, so we will see. I still want to hit at least one major story point in Jessica's story...ideally two, but I have no plans on rushing things...I mean why start now, right? ;)

Alternative Universe wise, I have given a lot a focus on Avalon and Asgard last year, so , while still committed to that Universe, I think Ocean's Bluff deserves some love, and also I have had the chance to work with :iconms-claire-dawkins: so this year will also feature one or two alternative stories set in Racks View, which is awesome :)

The Trance Poll story where you get to vote if she wins, loses or draws is coming up, but will probably be after First Day finished and with another story in between.

Speaking of Polls, the last one I threw up returned some interesting results. While most were in favor of introducing the Mechanical Drones and doing more alternative tales where the heroines lose, a sizable minority voted against any more stories where the heroines loss permanently.

I was quite pleased at that I am, at the end of the day, really not an SHIP/DID writer, though I do use those elements in my  stories and I am happy to see that some people out there are focused on other things than just the peril.

I was planning on being one at one point, so why aren't I? I will touch on this more when I do my long spoken about but so far invisible series on "Why I write stories this way" :)

I think I have taken enough of your valuable time folks

Cheers for now

Trance Draws? Doe she do landscapes or portraits? Hopefully she doesn't draw political satire. :evillaugh: You are very kind to include me as a luminary, I am just a simple man making my way through the heroines of Ocean's Bluff. I have enjoyed working with you Duck and I hope that our collaborations continue well past the end of our current story. Although if you keep telling me to move Trances right hand 5cm's to the left, I am going to have Dee shoot you in the foot! :yeehaw: :minigun: robot emoticon :fire: Death the kid icon
