Art by the fantastic who also helped brainstorm this story as detailed in my latest journal Rolling the Dice 1: Being Inspired...Rolling the Dice is a new journal series I am starting about writing in general, how I write in particular and is open to anyone who wants to submit a piece on how they write, what kind of writing they like, tricks and tips etc.
The first few entries will all be on the subject of how being a table top GM for almost 30 years has influenced my approach to story telling.
Incidentally, we stopped playing when I was 39....now 6 years later the guys are asking to get the group back together again - the idea is terrifying!!! I don't know if I still have "It" anymore...but I am a sucker for an audience so later this year the First Ed AD&D rule books and house rules will probably be taken out of storage and once again I will get to hear " 15...plus whatever the sword does!" Ah...I miss those days
